Join us for a different seminar taught by our IBFDA certified black belts each month of 2018!  Read below to see the different seminar topics offered. You can purchase individual seminars or packages of seminars. Don’t miss these incredible seminars that will only be offered once!
Nutrition for Health and Optimal Performance – January 27, 2018 from 1:00PM-2:00PM at the SAN RAMON School

Sarah Reilly, CNC, is a Clinical Nutritionist and owner of Get Nourished; a virtual nutrition company that serves clients nationally. She is a burn out/recovery specialist who helps business leaders, athletes, and those suffering from chronic illness to recover, rebuild and attain peak performance. She combines the principles of Holistic Nutrition and Functional Medicine in her customized approach to help each client achieve lasting positive results.

Nunchucks – February 3, 2018 from 1:00PM-2:00Pm at the ALAMO School

Mr. Worden has been teaching nunchucks for many years to our students. This is open to all students and is a great way to get introduced to weapons training. You will learn the basics of the weapon, how it’s used and learn a nunchucks form for demonstration and competition purposes.

Strength Training for Martial Arts – March 17, 2018 from 1:00PM-2:00Pm at the ALAMO School

Come learn strength and conditioning techniques to build muscle and endurance used by our USA National Team consisting of experienced Black Belts and National and World Champions. Master Buckley has coached 5 USA National teams, produced 22 world champions and countless national champions using these methods. If if works for the best in the world, it will work for you too! 

Art of Dummying/Performance Mass Attack – April 7, 2018 from 1:00-2:00PM at the LAFAYETTE School

Come learn both sides of our signature movement, the Mass Attack, from experienced Black Belts and dummies. It takes skill to be on either side and you’ll learn how to make impact and how to respond accordingly as the dummy.

 Forms/ World Tournament Prep – May 5, 2018 from 1:00-2:00PM at the SAN RAMON School

 It’s a World Tournament year for East West and we plan on bringing the biggest team ever to Baltimore this year in July. In this seminar you’ll learn how all about tournament performance: what are you scored on, how to score well and how to prepare and practice for any tournament.

 Women’s Self Defense – June 16, 2018 from 1:00-2:00PM at the LAFAYETTE School

This important skill is open to all ladies ages 13 and up. Family members, daughters going off to college, friends and colleagues are all welcome. You’ll learn about awareness and basic self-defense skills in a safe and friendly environment.

 Kicking – August 18, 2018 from 1:00PM-2:00Pm at the ALAMO School

You’ll learn the mechanics of how to take advantage of the biggest weapon on your body – your legs. Understanding how to move and how to practice will help you in all aspects of your training – kata, fighting sets, techniques – as well as the kicks.

Parent/Child  Pad Seminar – September 15, 2018 1:00-2:00PM at the SAN RAMON School

This is a great seminar for the whole family, parents and kids alike! Come learn how to use and hold pads properly so that you can help your kids at home. You can order pads as part of the seminar and begin to practice what you learn right away!

Basics of Pad Work – October 6, 2018 from 1:00-2:00PM at the LAFAYETTE School

This seminar is designed to teach dynamic bag and pad work to get the most out of your training time. You’ll learn the basics, how to develop timing and create impact quality in your strikes and kicks

 Bok Fu Philosophy –  November 17, 2018 from 1:00-2:00PM at the ALAMO School
Few systems are as well documented as Bok Fu Do is but Grandmaster Lee and Master Buckley have taken the time to share their learning and experience through their writings. This is a chance for students to hear and discuss excerpts from the Bok Fu Do philosophy writings.  Explore the concepts of mind, body, and spirit and learn how Bok Fu Do training can positively impact all aspects of your life.
