Brief Bio:
Adam Sanchez started his martial arts training at East West in October of 1985. In 1991, he was one of the first students of Grandmaster Lee’s to receive his black belt at the Alamo school. During his time at East West, Mr. Sanchez represented the United States and Grandmaster Lee in international and world competitions. He was on the United States Kuoshu team that competed at the 6th World Kuoshu Championships in Las Vegas (1989) and at the 7th World Kuoshu Championships in the Republic of China (1992). He is a 1st generation disciple of Grandmaster Lee and currently holds the rank of 3rd degree black belt in the Bok-Fu-Do system.
Right out of high school, Mr. Sanchez went to work on the San Francisco stock exchange. But after ten years of working in finance, Mr. Sanchez decided to follow his life’s passion and attend culinary school. Upon graduation he earned an extremely distinguished internship at the French Laundry restaurant, where he currently works.
