Brief Bio:

Ms. Piacente began training at East-West Kung-Fu in 1989. She earned her black belt in 1994 and currently holds the rank of 3rd degree black belt in the Bok-Fu-Do system. Ms. Piacente is a first generation disciple of Grandmaster Richard Lee. She is an International Certified Referee through the World Kuoshu Federation, one of only four women in the world with an ‘A’ level of classification. Ms. Piacente was one of only two females to serve as Executive Referee for the Lei Tai (full contact) divisions during the 2nd T.W.K.S.F. World Kuoshu (Kung-Fu) Tournament in Singapore, 2006. She also served as Executive Referee at the 1st T.W.K.S.F. World Kuoshu Tournament in Brazil, 2003. Ms. Piacente won the 7th World Koushu Championships in 1992 held in the Republic of China. She assisted U.S. Head Coach, Master John Buckley in preparing the eight East-West members of the 2003 United States full contact team that competed at the World Tournament in Brazil. Ms. Piacente is the Chinese Interpreter at Richard Lee’s East West Kung Fu school.

Piacente accepts the overall Lei Tai Team award with Master Buckley at the 2003 International Kuoshu Championship Tournament in Baltimore, Maryland. Ms. Piacente assisted Master Buckley in preparing the U.S. team members for the 1st TWKSF World Kuoshu Tournament held in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2003.
