Brief Bio:

Norma Futini began her training in 1988 and earned her black belt in 1992, the first female of Bok-Fu-Do certified personally by Grandmaster Richard Lee. Ms. Futini is a 1st Generation Disciple of Grandmaster Richard Lee. She holds the rank of 5th Degree Black Belt in the Bok-Fu-Do System, and the rank of 5th Tuan (black sash) in Chinese Kuoshu. Norma has competed in four world championship kuoshu tournaments. She was a member of the Lei Tai (full contact) team representing the United States at the 7th and 8th World Kuoshu (Kung-Fu) Championships in the Republic of China (1992 & 1996).

Norma competed in forms and weapons at the 1st T.W.K.S.F. World Kuoshu (Kung-Fu) Tournament in Brazil, 2003 and at the 2nd T.W.K.S.F. World Kuoshu (Kung-Fu) Tournament in Singapore, 2006. She is an International Certified Referee through the World Kuoshu Federation, one of only four women in the world with an ‘A’ level of classification. Master Futini has been a tournament director for regional, national, and international kuoshu tournaments. She has promoted and directed countless tournaments, fundraisers, seminars, and events for Richard Lee's East West since 1989. She is head of Advanced Women’s Training at Richard Lee’s East-West Kung-Fu and is also Vice-President of the International Bok-Fu Kenpo Association.
